Strutture

The Orange Peel Grab Bucket features a multi-valve jaw configuration consisting of 4-8 high-strength jaws that are hydraulically or wire-rope actuated to open and close in synchronization to efficiently grab, lift, and discharge all types of loose or lumpy materials.

The jaw configuration of the orange peel grab bucket adopts a modular design, which can be flexibly adjusted according to the operational requirements:

  • Fully enclosed jaws: suitable for fine-grained materials ( silt, sand, and gravel) to prevent scattering;
  • Semi-enclosed/meshed jaws: for viscous materials with high water content, reducing adsorption resistance;
  • Wide-side jaws: increase the gripping area to enhance the loading efficiency of loose materials (blasting reefs);
  • Narrow-side jaws: for narrow space or precise gripping ( wreckage).
  • The main frame: a combination of box beam and reinforcement structure, Q690 high-strength steel plate welded molding, the key bearing parts inlaid with Hardox wear-resistant plate.
  • Double-flap shell: composed of left and right symmetrical arc-shaped bucket flaps, connected by a high-strength alloy steel hinge, the opening and closing angle is usually 90°-110°, and the bucket flaps are lined with replaceable manganese steel liners;
  • Driving system: There are three kinds of driving systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic.
  • Cutting device: Bucket arrangement of segmented edge plate, optional flat edge, serrated edge, or composite edge design;
  • Rotating mechanism: some models are equipped with a slewing bearing + planetary reducer to realize 360° stepless rotation;
