Roasting Multifunctional Crane

The roasting multifunctional crane is a special lifting equipment designed for high-temperature roasting processes in the metallurgical, chemical, and building materials industries. It integrates composite functions such as material transfer, kiln loading and unloading, process monitoring, and emergency handling. It adopts a high-temperature-resistant steel structure frame and a special ceramic fiber thermal insulation protection system. It can operate continuously in an environment above 800°C. It is equipped with an adaptive hydraulic grab and infrared thermal imaging positioning module to achieve accurate grabbing of roasting materials (such as anode blocks, catalyst carriers, etc.) and dynamic calibration of the position in the kiln.

This model is usually equipped with a dual PLC redundant control system and an integrated roasting curve synchronization algorithm. It can automatically adjust the lifting rhythm according to the process temperature curve to avoid sudden cooling and heating of materials. Key components such as steel wire ropes use galvanized ceramic composite coating technology, which increases the life of the wire rope by more than 40% in a corrosive flue gas environment. Some high-end models are also equipped with waste heat recovery slings to convert the radiant heat of the grabbed materials into auxiliary power energy. Different from conventional metallurgical cranes, its unique three-dimensional anti-sway system can effectively suppress the swing of the load caused by airflow disturbance in the kiln, with a positioning accuracy of ±2mm, meeting the stringent requirements of modern roasting technology for intelligence and low loss.

• Charcoal briquettes grouping and transferring: adopting a double clamping system, each group can clamp 7 pieces of charcoal briquettes, supporting single group or double group synchronized transferring, adapting to the needs of efficient operation of the grouping machine.
• Raw block loading: accurately locate the unroasted anode blocks (raw blocks) and automatically load them into the designated pit of the roaster through the high-temperature-resistant fixture.
• Cooked blocks out of the furnace: Automatically extract the finished anode blocks (cooked blocks) and transfer them to the conveying line or storage area, avoiding high-temperature manual intervention.
• Filling material handling: Filling material function: evenly spread the filling material into the furnace pit through the unloading pipe to ensure the stability of the roasting environment. Suction function: Use negative pressure suction pipe to recover high-temperature filler material and realize recycling.
• Craft auxiliary lifting: Integrate 10t service electric hoist, used for flue installation, furnace maintenance, and sporadic charcoal handling, to enhance the comprehensive operation and maintenance efficiency of the workshop.
• Intelligent process connection: PLC coordinates the clamp, suction, and discharge system and conveying equipment to realize the automatic operation of the whole process of loading, discharging, and filling.
