Anode Carbon Block Stacking Crane is an overhead crane, used for loading and unloading equipment for the carbon block and aluminum electrolysis factory.. It is mainly used for stacking and transporting raw and cooked anode carbon blocks and roasted anode blocks (19 blocks for 1 group), and can also be used for rejecting waste blocks and inserting qualified blocks. It can be equipped with a 5-ton electric hoist for sporadic lifting.

The fixture device of the anode carbon block stacking crane is its core device, which adopts an all-mechanical structure design and consists of high-strength alloy steel fixture beams and 19 independent monoblock fixtures, with three major technical advantages:

  1. Pure mechanical transmission system, using a four-link gravity self-locking mechanism to achieve no external power source opening and closing action, and equipped with an overload protection device to ensure a stable clamping force.
  2. The optimized design features include a ± 50mm adjustable pitch monobloc fixture, a modular quick-change structure, a wear-resistant liner with a service life of more than 50,000 times, and an anti-loosening double insurance mechanism.
  3. The outstanding maintenance advantages, adopting a lubrication-free bearing design, equipped with a visual wear indicator mark, supporting the independent disassembly of the single fixture, and controlling the average maintenance time within 30 minutes/unit. The device is especially suitable for the harsh working conditions of an electrolytic aluminum workshop, ensuring operational safety and reducing maintenance costs.

System Composition

Anode charcoal block stacking crane is mainly composed of a bridge, a fixture lifting mechanism, an opening and closing mechanism, an electric hoist lifting and running mechanism. It has the functions of closed-circuit monitoring, automatic detection, automatic positioning, automatic judgment of fixture leakage, automatic determination of charcoal block stacking height, and so on.

Functional Characteristics Of Main Components:

  • Bridge assembly: high-strength box beam structure design, equipped with torsion-resistant end beam assembly.
  • Clamping and lifting system: the main winch mechanism adopts a double-braking configuration, the dynamic/static pulley block realizes 4:1 multiplication transmission, the balance wheel ensures the balance of the wire rope tension; the hydraulic clamping device is equipped with a pressure feedback function.
  • Running mechanism: Equipped with a frequency conversion drive electric hoist, double-track guiding device, and redundant limit protection system.
  • Intelligent control system: automatic laser positioning (±2mm accuracy), real-time weighing detection (0.5% accuracy), adaptive calculation of stacking height, self-diagnostic fault function.
  • Auxiliary system: centralized automatic lubrication, closed-circuit monitoring system, anti-sway control module.

Working Principle

The Anode Carbon Block Stacking Crane realizes the automatic clamping operation of anode carbon block group through PLC control system: firstly, the main winch is controlled to descend according to the vertical coordinates provided by the positioning system, and then the clamping fixture is activated after detecting the signal of loose rope; the weighing module monitors the weight of carbon block in real time and feeds back to PLC, and after passing the weight validation, the main winch is lifted to the upper limit to complete the whole clamping process. The stacking crane system realizes the fully automatic operation of accurate positioning, safe clamping, and weight verification.

  • The whole machine can realize fully automatic operation, automatic block grabbing, block placing, depalletizing, and loading, with a high degree of automation, and can be intelligently positioned, with accurate laser/encoder alignment (±2mm). ;
  • Remote monitoring and data management: the traveling car and the central control room through wireless transmission, remote monitoring can be realized, support for remote upload and download programs; support for data logging, such as carbon block operation report, fault log storage, and analysis
  • Mechanical fixture and energy-saving design: pure mechanical structure, free of electric power drive; frequency conversion speed regulation, environmental protection and energy saving, modular design, convenient maintenance;
