This 3,000 ton giant gantry crane has a single-trolley lifting capacity of 1,600 tons, a lifting height of 120 meters, and a span of 120 meters. The weight it lifts at one time is equivalent to the sum of 2,000 cars, and the lifting height is equivalent to a 40-story building!
To ensure the stability and safety of the equipment in the coastal operating environment, the Weihua team adopts a single girder and double trolley system with four reels and double hooks to synchronize the structure, and with the help of three-dimensional digital prototypes and finite element analysis, the stiffness and strength of the structure is accurately calculated. At the same time, the gantry crane is equipped with an intelligent safety management monitoring system to realize the whole life cycle intelligent management, even in extreme weather conditions such as typhoons, to ensure the stability and safety of operation.
The main girder of this 3,000-ton gantry is 134.7 meters long and weighs 2,085 tons. Weihua's transportation team used a bending and sinking car to monitor the load data in real time, and completed the transfer of this “giant” after 16 hours of delicate operation. This transportation process is not only a technical test, but also accumulates valuable experience in the transportation of oversized equipment in the future.
In order to ensure the safety and high efficiency of the product, the Weihua marine team, combined with the actual situation of the project site, innovatively designed the largest rope-rowing mechanism in China, which effectively improves the stability and reliability of the lifting.
After completing all the commissioning, this 3000-ton giant gantry crane will be officially put into operation to help lift large-scale offshore wind turbine components at the Hailong Wind Power Base, improve production efficiency, and promote the large-scale development of China's offshore wind power.
